i don't know how to start this but here goes.

when everything happened recently, i bit some people.

it matters that i bit people because i'm infected with cordyceps. the mushroom zombie shit. i'm immune. except no one would believe that before cutting my throat, so i didn't tell anyone. but this place did something and whatever the fuck makes me immune stopped working temporarily and people got bit. it could have been a disaster, so that's my fuck up and me giving official notice or whatever.

Are you certain that's what happened? From my understanding of recent events, transformations were unique to the circumstances of this world. I also experienced something that mirrored events from home, but it wasn't truly the same thing. Just manifested that way in appearance.

if this was caused by the wish seeds that changed people last month, I don't believe your immunity was compromised or anyone here would truly be at risk of infection. I suppose it is possible that your situation was completely unrelated, it is merely a theory based on recent evidence.

Vi's still doing fine, by the way. No signs of mushrooms or infections or otherwise.

Even if you were contagious when you bit her, most afflictions that occur here tend to be temporary, so it likely would have resolved, one way or another.

It did seem like this was just an innocuous incident, if just a bit embarrassing, so she's more curious why Jerry had honed in on for her sentencing. Maybe just the sheer guilt of it?]
