So... this might be a strange question (and hopefully one that isn't in too bad a taste considering what all just happened), but... What sorts of dreams do you have? And how did you go about deciding on them?

It took some time and a lot of hard work, but I am not known for taking things I don't like and just accepting them. "That person" might have been scared of bringing sacrifices and getting his hands dirty, but I'm not.

That sounds... ominous. I feel like it's in my best interests to ask what you think the solution to youkai and humans actually is.

That's it. If the lack of being able to communicate is the main reason for clashing, then that can be undone by imparting the necessary knowledge and tools for such an understanding.

Of course I had to first convince some of them with force.

It makes sense. Honestly, it probably works out better and lasts longer going that route than it might with another one.

Can't say I'm surprised you ended up having to fight anyone, though.

Neither was I. Some of the older generations never came around, but each new generation was more on board with my designs. Betting on opportunism never fails.

Was it really opportunism, you think? Or did it just become more normal?

Why not both? Modern human society offers a lot of pleasantries. Just take all the TV programs for example.

[Even if they don't watch TV that often themself, it seems like there's a whole world of convenience out there.]Especially when it seems like things like TVs end up being invented on all sorts of different worlds.

People just universally crave entertainment, I guess.

Anyway, most of my talk about sacrificing stuff only concerned myself having to do that, so don't worry about it. I might be a youkai, but I have never been one who kills his human ...hosts.
