it got some pretty intense damage, but we made it livable for now. we're trying to help out others who weren't so lucky.

I've been living at the inn.

I'm at the dojo just in case others need someplace to stay.

if anyone else lost their home, i'll direct them there. it'll probably be more quiet than the inn.

you have anyone I need to be watching out for that's missing or anything? i'm still looking for someone, but while I'm looking I can keep an eye out for others.

Yu and I had a conversation after Yosuke and Mikey went missing. didn't really talk to him much, but he hung around Lupin sometimes when Yu was working. he was really torn up about it.

maybe they're together again, back at home. though I think Mikey's from another universe or whatever.

If they ever come back, I'm sure they'd like to see the dojo was kept clean.

oh yeah. Astralin was really glad that his farm was kept up when he came back, even if he didn't remember it. i'm sure they'd be the same way.

Yeah. I think so too.

I guess it would be sad to see it waste away as well. Just because something was left behind doesn't mean it should be forgotten.

yeah. that's why I took over Lupin. I already worked there, so... why not? didn't think it'd last this long, though.

It's strange. These places are the only signs left that someone used to be here.

right? some of their things get left behind, but even if they came back, they don't remember anything. most of the time, anyway.

it makes you wonder what the point of these things staying here are.

Maybe that's why they stay. So that we don't forget, even if the other person can't remember anything.

probably. so we can be all sentimental and shit.

remembering fucking sucks sometimes.

But maybe that's how part of Aldrip came to be.

Do you think the buildings and businesses might have belonged to other Chosen in the past?

that's possible. the tablets we have today are partly from a city in the desert that was part of another cycle.

don't really like thinking about what happened to everyone in those cycles, though.

They were? I didn't know that.

yep. it was almost two years ago now, so probably way before your time.

we had some charms before. the tablets replaced them.

[ Oh that's right, there were charms... He never did get used to those, but they were quickly replaced with tablets. ]

I remember now that you've mentioned it. I wonder what happened to them.

who knows. after the reset they kinda disappeared.

the locals loved them, though. even when we got the tablets. it was SO weird.

Maybe there was something special about the charms.

who knows. something something about the ones who were there or whatever. seemed to forget about them after a while.

Yeah. I guess... a lot has changed here. Even if there was something special about them, maybe it doesn't matter anymore.

probably. i remember when it was still a fucking dump. but it was still better than home, so i guess i cant be that judgmental.
