[ There's a new(?) voice and it's borderline irate. ]
Just how long are we expected to wait before our 'sentencing'? Whilst I could certainly wait for an eternity, I would rather not. Surely they intend to mete their punishments out before we expire.
And for that matter, what is one supposed to do in this godsforsaken land?

Which, I should point out, is a month less than the Chosen who have been here the longest. Whatever is happening has not been happening long.

As for the gods, I have learned little. The locals believe in them with single-minded zealotry. They say they're kind, generous beings but also say they were the ones who sank the kingdom of Forlinet. Aside from this one supposed act of divine intervention, they've never shown themselves. All they do is leave their little gifts around, like these charms we're using.
I have my doubts about them being gods at all.

I suppose I shouldn't have expected much from these natives. They seem rather primitive still.

If you want to discover deeper truths about this world you will not find them in Aldrip.

Please tell me these people have at least managed to produce a functional map of their own lands.

You may purchase them from merchants. Places like the library have them on display for your perusal.
There seems to be less and less information on our surroundings the farther out one goes.

[ Perhaps he can skip the in-between and simply head for the outer regions to start exploring. ]

[ Famous last words. ]
I suppose I should give the natives some credit for exploring as much as they have already. They can only do so much with mortal lives.
