Inside me, there are monsters.

This is not metaphorical. There are fiends inside of me that I am able to shapeshift into. I can control them for the most part. However, as some of you know, there was an incident where I was... less so in control. In relation to my sentencing, I lost the ability to control one of the beasts inside of me, and some suffered the consequences.

I speak plainly so you may all decide on your own how you wish to proceed.

There is no reason to bear it like a secret. Best you all know what you have in your midst.

Who cares how 'we' would like to proceed? We have all been sentenced and all here are 'monsters' of some kind or another. If you wish to fall on a sword, do so less dramatically, if you please, and keep us out of it.

I make no demands. If people choose to fear me, pursue their social endeavors with me, or do otherwise, that is a choice all the same. I don't ask for anything, merely to inform.

That is to say, if there are some that no longer wish to be near me or would see me as some sort of beast, I would not refuse that choice or argue.

I would not be disappointed if anyone decided to turn their backs to me.

Typically, I can keep it under control, but I began to lose that control after my sentencing. Until it was too late.

If there is a way, it remains a mystery to me.

So losing control of our powers is sort of a thing that mutants go through. Call it a rite of passage or whatever. [He's pretty sure it happens to most anyway and then there's some like him or Rogue that still can't control their powers.]

But when that happens, we help out. Even if it involves temporarily knocking someone out.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with the kinds of fiends they are. Fiends, typically, are born out of corruption of a kind. Beyond that, not much my expertise.
