OKCINDR POST #5
Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?
With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.
So, on January 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:
This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of questions to answer:
Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:
If you'd like to for shits and giggles, here's some notifications that may be used:

Name (@username) followed you

Name (@username) unfollowed you

Name (@username) blocked you
Have fun! Code credit.

OKCINDR PROFILE RESET #4
PLEASE RESET PROFILE
This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of questions to answer:
- What is the maximum amount of sheep you have counted when trying to fall asleep?
- Is it harder to forgive yourself, or to forgive others?
- How strongly do you feel that the past defines a person?
- What is your dream?
- Why would an android's dream contain electric sheep? Are they particularly drawn to livestock animals?
- If you could return to one specific moment in your life, would you?
- How do you wake up from a dream?
- Please
- Wake up
- You must wake up

well, aside from, like, all other birds
a giant spider, huh? i mean, yeah, effective in a fight, can't argue that
[ looking at you, hell-spider. why is this witch lady hitting both of these things at once. surely there are other animals than crows and spiders out there — ]
no subject
Crows are more intelligent than the average bird.
But I also fight as a bear, or a wolf, or a swarm of insects. I'm fond of a cat form as well.
If I studied any creature long enough I could become them.
Not objects, however. What would one even do as an object? I couldn't move on my own then.
no subject
depends on the crow [ sorry monty — ]
bloody hell, that's a lot of forms. that your main form of... witchery?
and hey, don't knock the object idea, you could do plenty of stuff with that! like an ambush, or hide from pursuers by turning into a twig on the ground. or if you're working together with people and you need to, dunno, break into a house and you don't have a lockpick, except ta-da, you can turn into one! real convenient, that
no subject
'Tis not "Chantry approved" use of magic, so few wish to learn and even fewer can actually learn.
If I need to hide from pursuers, I can simply become a mouse or a bird and fly away. A stationary object can hardly defend itself, so what recourse would I have against someone stepping on the twig, or breaking the lockpick?
no subject
and right, okay, we're tabling the inanimate object thing, got it.
so chantry, that's like... witch council?
no subject
[She actually laughs out loud at the idea of the chantry being a 'witch council.']
No. The Chantry are self-righteous fools who believe their god to be the only one that matters and therefore everyone else must care as well, or be done away with. According to their Chant of Light: Magic exists to serve man, never to rule him.
Therefore, mages are locked away in their prisons--Called 'Circles'--to learn and to never be seen in society again, lest they begin to think terribly unnatural things, like perhaps that they have rights or would like fresh air.
The Circle is a leash on the throats of all mages within it, held in the unyielding hand of the Chantry. They learn to fear their abilities rather than embrace them. Which leads to accidents of possession and Abominations, which the Chantry's Templars then cut down and are used to further push the idea the mages are dangerous.
no subject
[ and then, after reading that whole description, ]
fucking hell. that's horrible, innit? but mages are crazy powerful, yeah? why do they agree to the circle thing, instead of just going off on their own
is it like a brainwashing thing, you know, being told you're one thing so long you don't know there's other options out there
