1. How hard does this place go with simulating bodily functions? We have to eat and expel waste, but do we menstruate? Get colds? Get infections? Get cancer? Get pregnant?

2. If our robot overlord is all about crime and punishment, what happens if we kill someone here?

I can't answer most of that [ because he doesn't get colds, infections, or cancer in the first place, and the rest doesn't apply to him. ] but I have been encouraged not to kill anyone.
Not that I would without good reason.

I see.
You'll likely be punished with something creatively unpleasant, but imprisonment doesn't seem to be the standard here. I'm sure someone who's been here longer will have further information.

I don't believe so. At least, not any traditional or common form of torture.
Punishments seem to be of a psychological bent from my observations.

Yes. It's less common and requires more skill than using blunt physical pain, though.
Regardless, I'm afraid that my information is limited.
Is it your intention to kill someone?

Yes. That does seem to be the dilemma. [ sephiroth's the last person to judge her tbh. (it probably doesn't even occur to him to do so.) ]

No, everyone here seems very kind. [ considering his standard of behavior is based on the man that tortures him for science, his ideas about kindness a little skewed, but still. ]
Still, I suppose it's not impossible that you might be required or influenced to kill at some point while you're here.

It happens. I can't say whether it's often or not.

It does seem very contradictory.
It's not my place to question it, though.

My trust isn't required.

I feel no sense of loyalty to it. It's the authority in this place. Until I return to my world or my handlers are brought here, I should be obedient as long as its orders don't contradict my orders from home.

[ oh. the easy understanding.. surprises him. ] Thank you.
I've been encouraged to pursue more freedom, but sometimes it feels very chaotic.

[ there's comfort in obedience. ]

[ that's an interesting suggestion. ]

In what way?
