[Shaw is not a social media user, and when it comes to intel-gathering, she'd much rather do it in person; someone else (hint: this means you, Root) can keep tabs on the simulation's weird-ass internet. Not her circus, not her monkeys.
Except right now, she's holed up in the apartment Root's stashed her in, physically and emotionally exhausted but with her brain still moving a mile a minute. So, okay, she'll pull out her tablet. She'll play a few (or ten) rounds of Snake. And then she'll take a peek at the network.
Two of the most recent posts are lengthy musings on philosophy. Goddammit.]
you're all excruciating

The usual topics of discussion are existential anxiety and violence.

I see very little evidence that our discourse has relieved anyone of their distress.
We mostly make each other worse.

Besides, you're the one who started this. Pot calling kettle black, much?
[Don't worry - Yuri's not the best at first impressions, either.]

Oh no. What are you gonna do, come over and stab me?

There was a bit of a conundrum with the switching off of an Ai and a couple of people being lost during the attempt to save it instead recently. It probably got some people in the mood of thinking out loud.

The team I was part of lost one, and the team that came to give us backup lost one as well. I found the doctor's communication tools, but that's about it. It's like he just put his phone to the side for a moment, and then was gone.
What troubles me most is that there's no way of telling whether it had anything to do with what we were trying to do and where, or if it was just more of 'the usual' with extra bad timing.
