[It takes Fauna some time before she decides to post. ... Well, some time by her standards. Ever since she got sentenced in her dream, she's been turning it over in her head. But rather than weighing the events, she's been more concerned about if this information could be used against her. But... No matter how much she thinks about it, she can't come to a conclusion on her own. Which is why she's finally ended up on the network.]

i think i met that jerry guy ive heard about
no one mentioned he shows up in your dreams
or is that new
is he some kind of messed up dream demon

anyway
he said a bunch of stupid bullshit about my crime
it was basically a threat
if i dont do what he says therell be consequences, he says
but he said im supposed to do acts of service
and then he went and vanished before i could ask anything
i dont plan on just obeying
but even if i did want to
i dont know what that means
what does acts of service even mean

[ Sentencing via dream sequence? That's new. ]

I don't think anyone's received their sentence in a dream before. We used to go to Town Hall for that after getting a message from Jerry.

[ Definitely explains how sentencing are being done without said Town Hall and without Jerry... ]

I guess they can still do sentencing without Town Hall then. That's good to know.

It looks like others already told you what acts of service means.

I think something happens to you if you don't follow your sentencing instructions. But if you're okay with that happening, it's probably fine.

Yeah. I think it's different for each person though, so no one knows what could happen to you.

[ But like, it's not really his business, you know? He's never seen it with his own two eyes, but he's heard some people lost their powers when they needed them most, or losing their entire sense of identity for the following month. ]

Yeah. I guess that's all I know.

Probably because we're not given a lot of information.

I think my friends would share with me if I asked.

Oh. You don't have friends?

[ ... ]

Do you want them?

They won't, if you make good friends.

[ Good friends with people who are genuinely kind, loving, accepting. ]

I thought being alone would be easier too, but... having them is nice.

[ "Nice," as in the understatement of the century given that they'd become the meaning to his entire life. ]

You can't, but you take that chance anyways.

If you get to know someone here, they can become one too.

This counts, I think.
