Hello
If we have not met my name is Octavian
I am an alchemist and as always I am accepting small amounts of blood for a personal project

But that is beside the point

[Just, you know, getting it out of the way that he's always on the hunt for blood samples to save, anyway—]

The point is during our mutual excursions to maintain the integrity of this world
In the ruins I was set upon by a manner of vision
Very abrupt
not entirely welcome
In the water I experienced memories that were not my own
Something about a breed of serpentine people
Where are they
?

The recollection suggested they were not always serpents but perhaps once like us
A group brought to this place and changed
Was this previously known
and
has anyone else experienced these visions
?

After looking over some of the responses you gave to others, I can't help but think we were lucky.

Maybe that's not the right word with all the glitches, but it's better than that. The snake thing sounds irreversible. At least if I was reading all that right.

[Oh. That's. Bad.]

Maybe...

Maybe the chance is too small to matter. A very, very, very small risk of snakes.

I was hoping the reset would fix that sort of thing.

[Guess that's what happens when dealing with a "perpetual lack of upkeep."]

I wonder if there's even anything we can do about it. Not that I'd be much help with the debugging, but still...

Right. Stay vigilant and stay away. At least until someone finds a way to fix it that doesn't involve... that. And try not to think too hard on it.

Anything else you found out out there we should be worried about?

I'm... not sure. Not something as obvious as meteors falling down from the sky, that's for sure. Doesn't help that I'm something of an outlier around here too.

Guess we're both new to all this?
