So... I've been thinking about that trip to Rumpa-whatever, and, uh...

Don't you guys think it would be kinda messed up if those snake people looked like this instead?

[ the view pans down to a drawing (it's sfw, not safe for brain cell retention tho). it stays there, lingering on this impressively stupid illustration for a few unfortunate seconds. then it's back to Law's face. he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly, implying he has some self-awareness of how #showerthoughts this is (which may or may not be accurate). ]

I dunno, yeah. It's been bugging me for awhile. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Something's been bothering me, though. How do they manage stairs if they don't have any legs? Do you think they ride horses if they need to travel?

Augh, do you think they just... slither up them? They definitely can't ride horses, though! You need legs for that. Totally gotta have legs.

Slithering makes sense...right? I guess? Maybe they could slither onto a horse, too. Or maybe they'd be too heavy. [...] They could everything on the ground level and avoid using stairs altogether.

Yeah, so I really hate the words "slither onto a horse," but I guess... if they have arms, they'd be able to hang on...

I'm guessing the horse would hate it, too. Maybe...big carts? No, that seems really involved. I bet they do their traveling on foot instead. [uh] ...So to speak.

On foot—man, now you've got me thinking about the backwards snake people again. Would they just be flopping all around up top when they run on human legs???

Flopping around? Now there's a mental picture I could do without, but...I guess they would. What would they do if they needed to hold something, though? How would they put on clothes? ...Would they wear clothes?

They'd... bite it? I guess they... wouldn't be able to wear clothes...

[ long pause ]

[Not that he doesn't understand, because this-- just-- ...this sure is something they're both thinking about now.

... ... ... Another pause. Then, quietly:]

I'm...glad the snake people aren't really like that.

Me too. I think I put some really weird energy out there with this. Maybe I should burn it?

... I don't know. Part of me thinks it'd release something into the world if you burned it.

This seems like the kind of thing that needs to be...sealed away. Put it in a box and bury it, maybe?

Well-- what can we do, then? Put it out to sea? Find a box to lock it up in? There has to be something, right?

We gotta seal it in something strong enough to, uh, contain the curse. Maybe a box, if we put enough locks on it...

What if we lock it up in a box, and then put that box inside of another box? I bet that'd help. More layers to get through, right?

Yeah! Yeah, that'd work. Or maybe like—put that box inside a box, then that box inside another, even bigger box, then put that box inside an even bigger box... and then we can bury it?! In the woods or something, where it won't taint all of civilization, y'know.

Alright, I like the sound of that plan. We'll get it far away from anywhere people might bother it. Don't worry, Law. We can fix this!
