[Goro only gives him a mildly amused huff before turning his attention back to the book, resuming to his reading. And hey! At least at first he does seriously focus on the text in front of him but after a few pages he is intentionally taking his sweet time, just to see how far does Akira's patience go.]

[Have you seen his motley crew of Phantom Thieves, Goro? Have you met Sakamoto Ryuji? Akira has patience for days, my man. He watches Goro as he resumes his reading for a moment, and then settles against the table and closes his eyes.]

[No worries, he will simply Nap.]

[Goro would argue that it does take whole different flavor of patience to deal with someone as loud and active as Sakamoto Ryuji than waiting in silence for someone to finish their studying. Seeing that this would require more passivity than with Ryuji. But fine, it is alright.

Luckily for them (??) Orlando isn't all that long read, and Goro had already been past the half-point when Akira decided to drop by. So, Akira gets to have at least half an hour worth of nap before Goro decides he's done. He closes the book quietly and glances over at the sleeping figure against the table. Sighing softly, he raises from his seat and walks back up to bookshelves to look for another book.]

[Different, but still patience. He still has it in spades. Arguably, he has it more when it comes to Goro because the reward of patience with Goro is that much greater.]

[Anyway, he dozes. The moment Goro gets up, he's awake again, opening one eye and then both, stretching his arms forward but staying sprawled across the table. When Goro returns, he just smiles.] More reading?

[But of course. Leave it to Akira to have awareness of a cat. Sort of. Goro's not all that surprised to see him awake and aware again as he slides into his previous seat and flips the book open.]

More. I am taking your advice, after all.

[chemex]

[He hums, rubbing the heel of one hand into an eye and settling again.] Mmmn, you listen when I give advice?

[There's a quiet, click of a tongue from Goro. He leans forward and rests his chin on his palm. As if.]

You told me to take a break of my brain, didn't you? [He huffs, irritation obvious in his voice.]

You always need a break from your brain, you think too much. [But he's smiling.]

[Stretching his arms forward again, he hums.] But-- somebody has to, and it's definitely not gonna be me. You want me to give you space?
