I've been here for over a year
[He probably didn't mean to send this. That's why it's so short. Just one of those musing thoughts that might have been more but wasn't at the time. And you think you pressed delete but you hit send instead.
And maybe the realization has made him just a bit homesick.]

He kinda takes the tough approach, so basically everything's a lesson. And if he can escalate a situation somehow, he absolutely will.
[It leads to a lot of explosions most of the time. And situations with angry people that Tsuna has to resolve. Because that is the Boss's duty.]
We'll make it happen somehow.

[Not at all the way he is as a tutor. That's admirable, though...he thinks.]
What's he tutoring you in?
>switching to private
Honestly? Pretty much everything.
I don't really know where I'd be without him though.
>private
So not just school, you mean?
A good tutor is like that. Or a teacher. They end up more like a mentor.
[Or so he's heard. His own experience has been...uh, different.]
>private
He's definitely more of a mentor. Even if I don't always agree with his methods.
He's the one training me to be a mafia boss
>private
[... ... ... wow]
I can confidently say I wasn't expecting that answer.
>private
Yeah. It's, kind of a thing. Due to a weird family history.
I don't really want the job, but it's kind of hard to stop him.
I. Uh. Hope this doesn't make things weird. Or anything.
>private
But I don't think it's that weird. With all the kings and ghosts and superheroes, it actually sounds a little more tame, huh?
... That must be hard, though. Being pushed into something you don't want.
>private
And yeah, I guess so. Although, the mafia where I'm from I guess is a lot weirder than people think.
I'm kinda used to it now. It's worked out, in some ways, but it's still something I'd rather not have to deal with.
>private
Schoolkids where I'm from are weirder than people think, too. [Ha ha. See: him and his friends. It's a dumb joke, it's fine.] I can't say I'm not curious, though. Weirder how?
Hmm. I understand, I think.
>private
Well, uh...you know my flames? They're kinda like, one of the backbones of mafia society. Among other things. There's a lot of weird traditions.
But yeah. Like, I don't know if I would be where I am or have the friends I have without him, but I don't really want to be the Tenth Vongola Boss.
>private
I'm guessing this isn't the kind of gig you can just say "no" to, right? That's hard. Even with the silver lining.
>private
[He's tried. He's trying. He will continue to try.]
But it's also. If anything's going to change about the Vongola, I think it's gotta be me who does it.
Otherwise I think things will just get worse.
>private
[Text doesn't quite convey it well enough -- the admiration he feels in response to that idea.]
I'm sure you'll be able to succeed.
>private
But, thanks Yu. Really.
