[He probably didn't mean to send this. That's why it's so short. Just one of those musing thoughts that might have been more but wasn't at the time. And you think you pressed delete but you hit send instead.

And maybe the realization has made him just a bit homesick.]

It's fine...we're all well past that now. Except for the part where I'm here, and not home.

But...not much I can do about that.

[He smiles a little sadly.]

I do miss my friends though.

I definitely understand. I miss my friends, too!

[A pause. This conversation so far isn't very cheerful, so he needs to think of something else.]

So, um... what are your friends like?

[Maybe talking about them will help.]

[It does, and Tsuna smiles broadly in spite of himself. It's always a little hard to explain his friends.]

Well, they're loud and tend to cause a lot of chaos. Once they decide to do something, there's really no stopping them.

But we get to have a lot of fun together, and I know they'd go out of their way for me a bunch.

I see. They sound interesting! I wish I could meet them.

[A pause.]

...I'm not that great at making friends or even good impressions, though. Ah, a-anyway! Do you have any hobbies? Something you did with your friends, maybe?

[Tsuna laughs, a little nervously. if only because, well, his friends are A Lot at the best of times.]

I kinda wish you could to. We're kinda good at bringing people into our group, and I think you've made a good impression on me. So...yeah.

Uh...I like playing video games. And we usually end up playing some sort of game or another.

Ah, thanks... I'm glad.

[There's a shy smile on his face. He really is happy that he managed to make a good impression.

And then there's that next topic.]

Video games...?

[That is a word Ruca hasn't heard yet. He likely has seen something of that kind by now but took no interest in it. He's a bookworm by nature and he was busy with other things, too. But now since it's a topic at hand he is curious.]

What kind of games are those?

[He has to keep reminding himself that not everyone here has video games. Or most modern conveniences it seems.]

Well, they're uh...do you have computers, or TVs in your world?

[He shakes his head.]

Um... no. We had nothing like that. The newest invention back was the steam engine. That already changed our lives so much! But in here things are even more advanced...

[It took him a moment to get used to it.]

Okay.

[Yeah, that's a bit in the past for him. But he pulls out the tablet.]

Guess that was kind of a big adjustment, huh?

Well, a TV is like a bigger version of these.

A bit, yes, but it's also fascinating.

[His curious nature loves it.

And he nods when TV is explained to him.]

I guess it...it kinda is, yeah.

[Once he gets over being overwhelmed.]

So, with video games, they're games that you can play on your TV. I think the tablet has some, but video games are usually way more complex.

[He gives a nod. He thinks he understands.]

How exactly do you play a game like that?

Well, uh, usually it depends on what kind of game, but you usually have a controller of some sort to give the game commands. Like, moving your character around or solving the puzzle or whatever it is.

I don't know a whole lot about how video games work on like, a real technical level.

Okay...

Can you show me? I think seeing it for myself would give me a better idea.

Sure! One second.

[He takes out his own table, and starts searching through the games before landing on Tetris.]

This one's actually a video game I have in my world as well. The goal is to line up the shapes so they make lines.

[He might have a high score.]

[Watch how much his eyes widen now, shining with curiosity as he peers on the screen.]

Oh! Could I try?

[He probably won't be good at this, but it's such a new thing. He wants to give it a go! If possible...]

Yeah, sure!

[And he'll briefly go over the controls.]

So, the goal is to make lines and not let the blocks stack up to the top. It's easy to lose your cool, so...try not to do that.

[He'll mostly be disappointed with himself if he makes a mistake.

And he gives it a try after listening to the controls. It's easy to tell he's not that good at this.]

Ah... I guess I need to practice more.

Yeah, it takes a lot of practice.

I always used to get stressed out when everything speeds up.

Of course! It does feel really stressful when the speed increases.

[He looks at the game with fascination.]

Technology is really fascinating... I wonder how difficult it is to make a game like this.

I don't think it's that hard, but I'm not really the guy to ask.

At least, a simple game like this. There's other games that are way more complex and need a lot of people.
