[He knows that Tsuna is a mafia leader of sorts. It's a little weird to imagine mafia people throwing fireballs and such at each other, but guess that's how it works in his world.]

it's cool man. besides, i kind of get it. for the longest time i wanted mutants to be here and i just got lucky with that.

i think he's from the 2000s while i'm stuck in the 80s but we're supposed to be around the same age. heh, strangely enough, even though there's more mutants here, none of them are actually from my timeline.

The whole time thing and timeline kind of goes over my head.

[It's not quite the time travel he's used to, and even then, the time travel he's used to can still be confusing.]

nah, it's not bad. i think a part of me was disappointed at first, but i'm just glad they're around now. like kurt's still my friend despite different circumstances and everything.

like i don't think there is a timeline where i don't have lasers coming out of my eyes. it's probably the same thing for you.

I hope so. It's nice thinking that there's some way that we're always brought together, one way or another.

[That that wouldn't happen is just bleak, if he's being honest. But there's probably few timelines where he manages to not become the Vongola boss.]

[Even if some days really suck, just being reminded that he can't see things in color anymore. Always needing to wear glasses, but does he want to be fully 'normal' again? Probably not.]

My tutor.

It took a little while at first. I...I'd kinda have to die first? It's kind of hard to explain, but they're initially fuelled by regrets.

So my tutor would shoot me with a magic bullet and I'd be able to come back and act on my dying will.

And from there I learned to control them.

He's kind of hardcore.

But it's not like I die all the way...just, to the brink of death. And then the regrets bring you back.

But that doesn't have to happen anymore. I can access them on my own.

Still crazy though. Reborn's....a lot.

I'm grateful for a lot of the things he's helped me with, powers included. But there's a lot of ways I wish it had all been done differently.

But he'll always do things his own way.

maybe it's something to try and fix in the future? so that others don't have to go through the same thing.

he'll just have to deal, especially if you're the boss.

I mean, I can definitely try. But my big brother Dino went through the same thing with Reborn so I don't know if I can get him to change his ways. Being the Boss seems to stop with him.

Oh, Dino's not actually my brother, but he was Reborn's student before me so it's kinda like that.
