Hello, Aldrip! I, uh, meant to totally do this a little while ago, but you know how it is, right? Totally crazy, super insane, this whole Gnosia thing that went down! Unbelievable, right? I'm still figuring things out in this place, and it seems like it's things that just happen sometimes? First that staircase that never ended, and now this, I'm not sure what to expect-- oh, right, anyway, so! This is the STEM Club - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics!

Well, Aldrip, we have several projects ongoing here, all very science-y, so - we can definitely use all the help we can get, so if you wanna give us something new to make, or help us, well, come meet us at the Clubs building, go straight, then straight, more straight, then left, then... Then it's right, and you'll see a laboratory. It's us, okay? Knock and we will be with you.

(we can thank morph! they're a fanboy, it seems, but also? scott has asked him enough about super-heroing and talked about the x-men enough for him to connect that, yeah, with great powers, come great responsibility, scott. welcome to the club.

but losing control or otherwise, there's no staying down. that's rule number one of super-heroing. if you just give up, then who are people going to count on? that's not an option.)

A signal. A port. There's gotta be access to it. So, we're thinking the forest, obviously, that place is like, super sus, right? The cave, which, I'mma say, it's not so sus as the forest, but it is creepy, and the ruins. What do you think?

[Scott can't claim he's fully following along with this, but the most important thing is that Peter thinks there's something accessible out in the woods, or the cave, or the ruins. He's sure people have traversed those areas before, but maybe they still missed something. If his friend thinks it's worth searching, then it is. Scott quietly thinks about this proposed mission, sipping a little more of his coffee and almost ignoring the taste this time, before he nods.]

It wouldn't hurt to go searching.

[Especially if...] If we go to these ports and access it, do you think we'll be able to stop this place from acting all weird? Like the... infection and the glitching?

(morph did, in great detail, mister leader of the x-men. peter is kind of really proud, even if it didn't happen yet. he can't imagine the responsibility that scott has on his shoulders there, how young must he have been? that's insane.)

I mean, probably. Maybe. We don't... Know. We won't know unless we actively try, Scott.

[Maybe not the answer that he fully wants and it's kind of disappointing not to have more reassurance, but he knows that he can't ask more from Peter. That's why they're doing this mission in the first place. If there is a chance that this will help out... then it's worth taking.

He doesn't want to glitch again, especially if it's Phoenix. Scott doesn't want to hurt anyone like that again.]
