I mean, I just thought that movie night thing could be... fun. After the bullshit. If anybody wants to come watch some stuff, in a park or something? Like a drive-in! Get a bunch of snacks and hang out.

it's the easiest way to explain. let's call this timeline, the one where you had cereal, history A. according to many-worlds, that means there's a history B where you had toast, or eggs, or whatever.

so it doesn't mean... guys from other planets kind of worlds. it's the cereal vs. toast kind of worlds. variables. maybe there's a history where you never had to play in your fucked up death game at all.

and yeah, something like that. if i'm in the cereal world, i can swap places with the me in toast world. can't have two of me running around. and like i said, i can't do it anymore.

that still sounds complicated and confusing. but in this place its probably better you can't do it, they'd find some way to fuck you twice.

oh yeah, they'd probably kill me for real. a guy who can switch the timeline he's in is a liability for bullshit like this.

either that or they'd make sure every time you swap you end up somewhere worse.

yeah the obviously just grabbed a bunch of people from a bunch of worlds and threw us into this computer or whatever to fuck with. maybe they think they'll learn something or maybe they just want to watch us suffer. doesn't fucking matter to us either way.

people talk about it, but i have no idea how anybody'd go about doing that. and if they got out its not like we'd know. people disappear sometimes, but we don't know if they got out or the overlords just got tired of them and switched them off or something.

yeah, that makes sense. it's probably still worth testing out, and you'd hope someone who gets out would come back for the rest of us... i dunno.

the council, or whatever the fuck is running this, is probably outside of it somehow. so at least that has to be reachable.

or, fuck, i don't know. this is all over my head. we didn't even really have computers where i came from.

well, yeah, if it's a computer program, someone's running it somewhere. that's right. and that would mean we're being held somewhere in the real world, unless....well, let's assume they've got us somewhere first.

some people died before they got here. i maybe did. but its not like we understand any of this, so maybe they can bring back the dead in whatever place they're in too.

or we're back on the toast world vs. cereal world, and they can cross those lines, too.

that's harder to prove, though... someone'd have to get out before we worry about that.
