Has anyone been removed from this place before? Only to find themselves pulled back here once a significant amount of time has passed back home?
Months, to be more exact.
Months, to be more exact.

[He types, as though he wasn't worried and low-key hunting for her.]
Sorry you got teased with a taste of outside but it's good at see you back.

[ God it's jarring talking to very much not dead you again, as if nothing even happened. ]
I'm not sure I would class several months as just a "tease" of it...
It was as if I'd never left in the first place.
no subject
Oh well he won't apologize for being here.]
November to March is a shorter time to be home than the whole time you've been here. Seems like a tease to me.
Weird, though. That's gotta be jarring.
[yea he snooping the other conversations.]

True - but a lot happened.
[ Understatement of the century? Probably. ]
There is something I need to speak to you about sometime soon.

What's the last thing you remember from home, Senpai?
no subject
I remember Graduation Day. I prematurely ended my speech because I remembered something more important.
[ Did that day mean the same thing for Kotone as it did for Minato? ]
no subject
I'm sure it was a great speech! You're really good at them.
If you still remember it, could I read it sometime? Aigis took me straight to the roof, so I didn't get to hear it.

"After my father died there was a time I lost motivation to live my life, but no longer. I shall honour my father's will. I won't run from the future, I'll face it head on. Not a single doubt remains in my mind...
And the reason... It's because I have forged such wonderful friendships and we swore we would never lose hope no matter what the future may bring."
[ Aigis, the roof... it all checks out. ]
After that we left for the roof too, to keep our promise.
[ It doesn't matter that Kotone isn't the leader she knows, if she can fill in the gaps for her, let her know what her Mitsuru must have done too, she will. ]

I was home. As incredulous as that sounds.
It was as if none of this ever happened.

Tell me everything.
(The fact it's like this place doesn't happen is deeply concerning.)
no subject
Let's start by you telling me the last thing you remember before you came here. Then we can establish what, if any gaps I need to fill in for you.
At any rate, I can tell you that the two of us both graduated.
[ IMPORTANT...... to her, obviously. ]

Do you remember the exact date from back home?
no subject
March 5th.
[ Now that she thinks about it, she never found out what time Minato had come from. There is a chance that date will mean nothing as he's yet to experience it for himself, but on the other hand...
Well, she'll have no further need to elaborate, will she? ]
no subject
I see.
The cherry blossoms were in their full bloom that day, weren't they?
[ Perhaps that answers the unspoken question, that indeed, he's well aware of the significance of that day. ]
no subject
Or perhaps it was just my memories of everything we had all been through that made them seem that way.
We should talk, properly.
Whenever you’re free.

[ Not that she was worried or anything-- yeah, she was a little worried. ]

Still, I apologise for my absence, Toph. [ As if it's somehow her fault... ] I will of course return to my managerial duties at the casino as soon as I get my bearings again.

That sounds so weird. Did you remember us -- all of this?

As for time back home it seems like it was at a standstill after speaking with those I know from my own world who are stuck in this place as well. Not exactly the same situation in your case I suppose.
no subject
I had heard something similar - people who had been here before yet had no memory of it when they returned. I wonder why my case was different.
no subject
Beats me. Maybe this Council really likes you isn't that lucky?
[Teasing her a bit.]
