I realise that this might be an odd question.
But has anyone noticed the gas stations here? I'd not seen any while walking on foot, but if I begin to run low while driving I find one around the corner. It's as though they've shown up overnight.
...Not that this would be the first time this has happened.
[This place... At least the butcher's disappearance and the casino's appearance had seemed random. But the timing was oddly convenient.]

Are you saying they only appear when you're driving? Not at any other time? [ After all, that sounds way less coincidental and random than most other events in this place. But then again-- ] How many times has it happened? It could really just be a coincidence if it was only a few times. Even a small possibility is still a possibility, after all.
[ This is what happens when too many detectives start talking to each other.. ]

What's odd is that I'd not seen them before, in person or on a map.

[ If it isn't just coincidence. Ange still isn't fully ruling it out.. ]
I don't think this place has ever bothered to meet our needs so directly before. Why would it bother to start doing that now, and with something so specific?

[Technically it hadn't been standing long. But it'd just appeared, parked and ready to go. Like how she'd left it the day she'd arrived.]

I mean, we didn't even have a relatively modern city like this until a few months ago. [ So the idea of a scooter showing up and actually working isn't so strange to Ange in the face of that. This place has proven that it can suddenly adapt to a wildly different sort of society, with wildly different levels of technology. ]
It's learning from us, isn't it? Maybe it learned about scooters through you.

Maybe. Though I'm not sure why it'd choose mine and not Yosuke-senpai's, given how much he talked about such things back home.
[Though Naoto had been annoyed at all the walking.]

[ Said with the iciest tone possible.. It's not even that Ange actively dislikes Yosuke or something, it's just that he's such a typical Man. In what other way is Ange supposed to deal with that? ]
That doesn't exactly seem to align with the purpose the people in charge here claim they brought us here for.

Fuel... For vehicles.

[ Despite the upgrades Aldrip has received after the, uh, "incident", it's still pretty backwards when it comes to commute. ]

[ Though judging by the short interaction he's had with it, he wouldn't exactly call that one imaginative. ]
Unless the goal is to discourage travel, but then why bring those back as gifts?

It's like everything else here. Nonsensical.
