I am a new arrival to this place. My name is Rafal. I am a dragon from another world. As familiar as I am with the mechanics of multiple worlds and travel between then, I am afraid the technology gap here is rather large. I would like to request the aid of a master, someone who is proficient in it and is willing to teach me.

Of course, this does not need to be for free. You are welcome to request a boon or a favor. I lack money at this juncture but I will see to it soon enough. I am no longer in the business of resurrecting the dead and I do not kill for others . . . but I am open-minded in other requests.

But yes. I need practicalities. How it works, what it looks like when it doesn't, what is unusual. I need to reach a level of proficiency so I will not be caught off guard.

You said you're a dragon, right? Does that mean your world is the fantasy kind of place?

You can use it to record things as well, like taking notes or photos! That video you posted? It can be saved for later, if you need it again.

I think you can draw on it too, but I dunno if you're interested in that.

I'm figuring out how I want to live my life, and I think helping others out to the best of my ability isn't a bad place to start.

I'm not sure. I don't think I've done anything wrong, but I can't shake the feeling that I've done something terrible before.

[Is helplessness truly a sin? He still doesn't understand the true nature of his crime. How do you make amends for something you don't remember?]

Still, even if nothing changes, I'll continue to help people.

Because I love people.

[It's such a boldfaced statement one can be forgiven to think that he's exaggerating. But Ryoji isn't - he's always been genuine in his entire life.]

They laugh and cry and share those emotions with others. They struggle against adversity but there are those refuse to give up. What can I do but to give them a helping hand?

It's not the only way one person could live though, and I don't think it's right to judge others for their own ways of life. This is just what I decided on - for now, at least.

To me, humans are mayflies. They come and go too quickly to leave a strong impression. But I recognize that their lives are hard. A little compassion can matter.

It's true, the human lifespan is short. But that's what makes them shine more brilliantly - because they want to do all that they can in the time that is given to them.

Saying goodbyes is sad and inevitable. But the memories that they share will live on in their hearts.
