Greetings to all of Aldrip. My name is Abe no Seimei and I come bearing warnings and offerings.

Some time within the last month, pieces of a resident called Dara have been taken from her and spread throughout the city. While macabre on its own, these pieces will also soon begin to radiate harmful miasma into the air and effect all living things in the surrounding area. The effects are not unlike an illness--sluggishness, soreness, chills and so on, but continued exposure will not only worsen the effects on your body but your mind, bringing fear, despair, violent urges...if left unchecked, it will eventually suffocate all it touches.

As part of my duties back home, I have extensive experience mitigating and cleansing such miasma. I am, however, only one man and certain we've all noticed the city's sudden growth recently.

In exchange for assistance in the search for these missing pieces, I am offering personally charmed talismans to significantly lessen the effects of the miasma in tainted areas and cleansing to those who have already felt its effects. You will find me on the main road between the inn and the library.

She isn't as fragile as a human being. Should they be found quickly enough, she'll be fine.

At the moment I'm busy preparing for any others who may be willing to help, so I cannot accompany them. If you come find me, I'll give you the same protection they will be given and you can see to the first group's protection in my stead.

This world isn't fit to safely house a god. It is, to put things simply, lacking in its own energy and relies entirely upon these "Chosen" to provide it. Dara-sama is a god of curses, and thus brings with her a large amount of yin energy, which throws off the already unstable balance without proper care.

Gutting her like a fish being improper care, of course.

For a time. I'm not equipped with the tools to properly counteract this all on my own here, which is why I'm asking for help.

I should already have some resistance to miasma from Gracefeel but I won't say no to added protection.

When a piece is found, contact me so I may prepare it for safe transport to her. The end goal of all this is to rejoin Dara-sama with her missing parts, which, if all goes as intended, should bring her back to us and stem the flow of all this miasma.
