Hiiiiya ! I’m so glad to see those of you I do know and very pleased to meet those of you I don’t.
You, the “Chosen.” I think I’ll give you something to think about. Actually it's a concept that I’ve agonized over for a while!
[ The figure front row and centre chirps from the close proximity to the screen. Strange backdrop for those who won't immediately connect the dots. The skeleton scene of An Attempt(TM) for a birthday just barely viewable over his shoulder. As he leans back from the camera again there's evidence that he's put it together mockingly, perhaps even a little contemptuously going by how many things are askew. It's a red herring, unless...?
At any rate there's no mention whatsoever who it's for—Gogol did say there was something more important on his mind. So he gets right to chattering. ]
Does a devastating control over our lives make a God? And well, I'll also share what I recently realized about that too. At a certain point it doesn’t matter what you call it— because the end result is the same.
Having my existence rewritten against my will makes me want to rebel as much as possible.
[ There's a loud cacophonous sound as he reaches over to grab a balloon and pop it with a needle. After that there hangs a heavy silence ]

[ Sounds as if he's purely amused by the notion. Not everyone likes making a scene in public though so at the earliest convenience he actually does come back!! Through the front door and everything. How polite. ]

[ When Gogol walks through that door, Sigma wants to sound exasperated, angry, like he'd sounded on the network. Unfortunately, a good dose of concern and relief cuts through it as he's immediately headed right for the clown. ]

[ Being, as Gogol had put it, "re-written against his will" is definitely something Sigma didn't see the other taking well, once it became clear just what had happened. He'd been worrying in the short time between that realization and now, and here it is looking like that worry might have been justified. ]
Everyone else that was effected just like you were has nothing to do with this.

Are you trying to convince me? How kind of you to seek the welfare of others. But, well, I already fully understand that they are the victims of what happened.
[ Breaking eye contact he looks down with his smile softening around the edges. Sigma should know this even better than others: when have feelings of empathy or guilt ever stopped him? ]

[ To not go through with it, whatever it is, likely as things are to already be in motion.
The concern takes all the sharp edges out of his furrowed brows pointed right up at Gogol, hands gently wrapping around his wrists to rest there. Not holding, not trapping, only resting. ]
It won't accomplish anything, will it? It won't hurt who needs to be hurt, not even in the crossfire...and it won't satisfy you.

That's right, it won't. Because this all makes no sense I will simultaneously spite this place lacking in freewill and—
