I'm aware of a lot of things going on, memories and people asking about them on the network. I'll keep my own issues to myself. What I want is to think about anything but all this.

I want to hear something about your home world, something you remember, even if you think it's fake or real. I need something else and maybe hearing about things from people's homes, good or bad, will allow for that. Favourite recipe, something about your mother you parents, guardians, something about your favourite route to a nice place. A flower you like. A time you were victorious, a time you felt you weren't going to make it to your goal and did, or didn't and how you're still working on it. Anything that isn't this.

That sounds very heartbreaking. It sounds like that's something you wanted.

It is. I can't believe I forgot who they really were.

I don't know how they did it, but this is clearly sorcery far beyond any normal means.

They made you forget? I'm sorry, I know this changes the direction of what I meant to ask you. Could I ask you to explain? I understand that you were brainwashed, but could you explain the memories?

I remembered being married and having a husband. I remember that he had been respectable and kind. But not that he was a warrior and the son of a king.

I knew that I had lost him, but not how... I didn't remember that we had a daughter and a son together. That wasn't part of what I thought my life in town was.

That's horrible to live through, no matter what kind of memory or life. I wonder why they're making people suffer so much. How is this supposed to teach us to better ourselves?
