im not hurt. i went there just to watch the guards. just learn more about them and their routine. i have this gemstone. from my realm. some brainiac scientists believed they can create magic with science. people thought they were nutjobs because ure either born with arcane talent or not. u cant just MAKE it. but somehow they pulled it off and made these stones. and these stones were the key to everything back where im from, made the world go round, SUPER IMPORTANT. this thing can power up any item, especially weapons. its the main source for teleportation. the city above mine used it mostly for traveling from one city to the next faster than u can blink to ship goods around. and i stole it. ive had it ever since. ive been keeping my mouth shut about this gemstone for obvious reasons. if people knew of its existence, they WILL fight over this thing. and ive worked with it on and off while ive been here and its been working fine. but this morning... i still cant wrap my head around what happened. a bird knocked it out of my hand and i dropped it. ive dropped that crap so many times before but... it never came alive like that. like it had a mind of its own... then the guards saw me and struck an arrow at me, AND there was a flower explosive nearby too. everything just... went haywire. i didnt know what to do after the explosion, so i grabbed the crystal and ran. im all up for exploding shit, but this time, it really wasn't my intention.

He doesn't blame her for hiding that one; it's not like he goes around flaunting his Azure Grimoire, either, and even then everyone and their mother was going after him for it back in his home world.

... For a moment there, he has to wonder... if the two are so similar, and the explosion caused by the gem came with all that blue light... could it be that it's tapping into the power of the Azure, too...?

Ah well; ultimately, Ragna doesn't particularly care about Jinx's little trinket either way as long as it's not causing her any harm. Which it kind of did in this case, though it's less the gem itself and more... ]

bingo. he knew just minutes after it happened and told me to turn myself in. i tried running but he appeared ahead of me. so i was dunzo from the start. i guess because i have a reputation, he and the council dont care about the facts. i was trying to stop the stupid thing from doing what it was doing! and alright, alright, i wanted to make the kee-kees pay for screwing me over, but i had a waaaaaay better plan then just blowing them up to smithereens. i want them to look dead in my eyes when i shove a bullet through them.
