Unless you mean like, general knowledge. You can go to the library or get hooked up to their net for that! Basically, there's other towns and maybe a dragon out there.

[ He retracts his visor, the mask disappearing from his face almost like magic. ]

[ Presumptuous much, Peter? ]

[A small grunt of annoyance.]

But do you typically wear that contraption every time you go outside?

[ Peter grins. Oh, he does love being an antagonistic little guy sometimes. ]

Not always. I keep it on when I'm out looking for stuff, or exploring, that kind of thing.

Then it helps you see things a human eye could not, is that right?

[He's seen that sort of technology before, but he's never used it.]

Yeah, exactly! It catches stuff I might miss otherwise.

[ Not a bad guess at all, he's gotta say. ]

And what have you seen?

Mostly just background stuff on the lore of the city and that kind of thing. I didn't have it hooked up originally, so it was just "No Data" for a couple weeks.

[ Some very hard weeks... ]

It's more useful in battle, or when I can actually connect to the global net.

[The global what? He's imagining a giant net over the planet but that can't be right...

He decides to circle back to an earlier question.]

You mentioned a dragon.

Did you see that?

Haven't seen one here, but I read about it. Supposedly it lives up in the mountains to the north.

[ This troubles him very little judging by his tone. ]

[Vholran notices the nonchalance and finds it interesting. Dragons were a particularly dangerous type of zeugle back on Dahna.]

You don't sound worried.

[starguy]

I mean, I've fought a space dragon before. How hard can a regular dragon be?

[ He throws his arms behind his neck, leaning back. I hate him. ]

[There is a very long pause, both in Vholran's voice and in the sound of his restless pacing.]

A what?

[starguy]

A space dragon. You know, a dragon that lives in space.

[ Obviously, he clearly means. ]

I mean, technically he lives on a couple different planets, he just travels between 'em. Because he can breathe in space.

You're referring to a Great Spirit...

[He's not sure he'd think of the one he'd met as a dragon but it didn't seem to have any issues surviving on the ruins of a dead planet floating in the vacuum of space.]

A "great spirit"...? Um, I guess?

[ Certainly some people revered the dragon as a mythical creature, and one that could take them to Ultath... if he remembers correctly. ]

I mean, a buddy of mine, Drax -- the people from his planet all thought that fighting it was kind of like, uh, "spiritual experience." They'd sing songs about him and stuff. So I can kinda see that.

You fought a Great Spirit...?

[The incredulity is obvious in his voice.]

Oh, yeah! With five of my friends, so it wasn't just me, but we killed him pretty good. Actually too good, we were trying to like, capture him but we, uh... shot him a little too much?

It was all good in the end, we healed him and he agreed to help us, but. Yeah! Killing him was no problem.

[ It was a problem, but like, the end result is what counts, right? ]

Then this dragon must be no match for you.
