i cant find my friend. ive been calling her all morning because we were going to make a bakery stand together and she wouldnt answer me. i broke into her room and all of her stuff is there but not her.

i think they took her.
she wouldnt just leave.

who else is still here? who else did they take? i cant be alone here in this place right?

if u know me, please tell me who u are and write back so i know im not here by myself. its hard to know who is who with these things.

but dont send a video or call me. just write to me or the monsters will know where i am.

[Caitlyn doesn't realize Vi's responded to this, or she wouldn't be here. Doing this. It feels like trying to pet a rabid dog, talking to Jinx.]

I was with your sister this morning. She's fine. She hasn't gone anywhere.

[She pauses, debating on saying any more. She doesn't need to, but every interaction she has with Jinx just makes her pity the girl more. But the missing person has her interest.]

[She had mixed feelings about her "legacy." Even if her mother was gone when she returned, what then? The death and destruction was because of Silco and Jinx, sure, but a huge part of it was because of the Council. They ignored the Undercity and let it suffer, without a care towards their people. They were wrong, all of them, and if they died, it was because of their inaction and indifference.]

Of course. With Silco alive here, I would expect nothing less.

[So Jinx and Silco staying, she's not surprised. But Vi? That's. New. But maybe not as surprising if she sits back and thinks about it. Still, it wasn't a discussion they had had. Really, had they talked about their future at all anyway?]

[??? Did Jinx really convince herself she didn't actual kill Silco....? Because Silco was most definitely dead. It was all a blur, and she had been knocked out for a bit of it, but still. There was no denying it. And yet.]

Then why stay here?

[She's honestly curious, though she doesn't know if Jinx will answer truthfully. Zaun was her home. Silco had money and power there, and a lot of that would go to her. Granted, there'd be more conflict with Piltover because of her actions, but a part of Caitlyn wanted Jinx to face the consequences of those actions.]

Even though Zaun is your home? Even though you and Silco were getting everything you wanted? I'm just surprised the two of you would walk away from that so easily.

[Caitlyn just wants to understand her, here. Jinx can call her stupid for wondering, but there's a lot of actions by Jinx that Caitlyn's struggled to understand. Maybe if she understands her better, they can make this weird and annoying situation around Vi work a bit better.]

You're important to Vi. I don't like to see her hurt by the animosity between us.
