i cant find my friend. ive been calling her all morning because we were going to make a bakery stand together and she wouldnt answer me. i broke into her room and all of her stuff is there but not her.

i think they took her.
she wouldnt just leave.

who else is still here? who else did they take? i cant be alone here in this place right?

if u know me, please tell me who u are and write back so i know im not here by myself. its hard to know who is who with these things.

but dont send a video or call me. just write to me or the monsters will know where i am.

she was my first friend here. the first person who was nice to me when i got here. this place sucks.
or maybe its not the place that sucks.

When I first met her, she said someone she knew had disappeared.

every 2 months we get new people. ive been keeping track.
not so much about the people leaving though.
my dad is on the way. i just need to keep my brain busy until then. and be. unconfused.

( when it really boils down to it, jinx is actually a very smart cookie and holds a lot of information. like the fact so far (besides teaching her father and mizuki the tutorial on how to), she seems to be the only one amongst them all who knows how to switch public conversations to private/filter out people through via charm and tablet. and she learned that by simply being bored and well, she is a junkie when it comes to technology and engineering.

in truth, she can be a real good ally to assist with the chosen and their investigation about the mysteries of this place............ she just doesn't want to. and jinx is also stupidly loyal to her father and what he wants to accomplished. )

it's PROBABLY taking the big honchos 2 months to restore their magic or whatever mojo sparkle twinkles theyre using to bring new fish in. theyre not AS powerful as we think. otherwise this joint would be LOADED with losers.
so u want to take them out? u get them while theyre vulnerable. the resting period. bing bang boom.

You're assuming here that bringing in more people is the natural goal, and is dependent on the power level of the people in charge.
What if it's not? What if the goal is to gather a smaller group like this? What if it has nothing to do with power?
Maybe there's another reason why people come and go. Maybe they don't..."fit" in the way the people in charge want them to.

oh please. money and power are the two things that makes the world go round. no matter WHERE ure from. whether that power is ACTUAL magic or just political.
