(video) a lil game moment
(manjiro comes into the camera, wearing his gang uniform with the words 'president' stitched, loud and proud. he sighs a little, but there's a smile on his lips before he speaks.)
I ain't into being strangers. Let's talk about ourselves with a single word and go from there. I'll start.
Motocyclist.

a few days later
(sano like him!!!)

Oh big ass was not an exaggeration, wow.

Yeah, my home just popped up. Who else has charges, nerd? Not from this world, I mean.

[He laughs at the question.] That's not my business to tell.

manjiro's not talking. instead, he's guiding akira to the center and grabbing a cushion punching pad. come on.)
Fine. Lame, but fine.
no subject
[He does follow toward the center, pausing to step out of his shoes and carry them on crooked fingers.] You'll learn more from them than I could tell, anyway.
no subject
I already said that was fine. Can you punch?

(listen, it's important. he gets angsty with all these powers, and while he doesn't know all who have it, it's still crucial one can survive on their fists themselves. this is him saying - i care, so you're hitting, and i'm assessing.
so, the cushions are on a good height for akira. go.)

[They confuse him, because he'd almost always rather be sleeping, but he's here, so there's no harm. He watches Mikey a moment, nods, shakes out his shoulders and hauls off to give a solid hit to the cushion. It's not inherently impressive, but maybe carries more strength than he looks like he would have, with his noodly body and typically horrendous posture. Said posture is a fair amount better, now, as he stays poised to hit the cushion again if requested.]

Near your chin, or by your waist.

(and he'll drop to the floor. come, akira, it's fine, he doesn't hurt.)
... I don't remember if I gave you my real name, speaking of it. It's Manjiro Sano.

[Another nod.] I think you may have, but now you definitely have.

[He demonstrates by doing just that. Cheeky.] Oh, that? Eh. Old news.

(please. think of the consequences!!!)
You did say you're not the only one who had troubles like that at home. I mostly just want to meet others like-minded individuals, is all.

[He hums, nodding.] I think there's a lot of our sort in Aldrip. Even if we have committed crimes, there's usually others we've been accused of that we were never guilty of.
no subject
I've been accused of murder. So far, I haven't, I'm sure of it. Tried, but got stopped mid-way. I'm wondering if it's something based on intent or simply because eventually, down the line, I actually do it.
(no emotion. factual, like one is talking about a video on the internet, the weather, or whatever.)
You know anything about it? These sentences.

Mine was grand larceny, which... Is sort of true, but sort of not. I think it varies, but most people I know have at least done something adjacent.

Grand larceny.
