Hello, Aldrip and all surrounding areas! My name is Mitama Yakumo, 17 years old, and I have officially joined the ranks of the Chosen as of last month!

[ She lets out a small laugh at her own description of the situation ─ it's not as though she, or anyone else here for that matter, had any say in all this, but at the very least she seems to be taking it rather well. ]

I'm sure everyone who shows up here must ask a lot of questions ─ and I admit, I'm no different. I hope you can spare some time to answer me the following.

[ She clears her throat and raises a single finger in front of her face as she moves on to the point. ]

First: have any of you encountered beings referred to as "Witches" or "Kyubey" while in this world?

[ Mitama is perfectly aware that the answer to that is dependent solely on whether there even are other magical girls among the people here, but that's quite alright. Negative answers would be enlightening too, that's for sure. However, on the chance it is confirmed neither of the above are in this world, she needs to ask a follow-up question. For that, she raises another finger in front of the charm. ]

Second: it's a little embarrassing to admit, but there is a certain item back in my world I really need the access to... I realize this might be a long shot, but is there any way for us to obtain things from different universes while here?

[ That would be entirely too good to be true, and to be perfectly honest, her expectations for this one are almost nonexistent; not that one could tell from her expression, as she gives the audience another warm smile, waving her hand as a goodbye. ]

Ah well, thousands and thousands of years ago Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter, and Earth's moon all had populations on them. So it's not that strange that more aliens try to come to Earth.

It's... well, technically it's not official? We just kinda know cause I mean, they televised they're arrival? And are constantly trying to take over people's bodies. Or like, whole buildings disappearing completely cause they got wiped out in an attack.

[ Hmm! Life on other planets in the solar systems? That is absolutely fascinating. She figured there would be some differences between her worlds and the other ones, but apparently those go way further than she could have imagined. ]

Well...! I suppose that cast a completely new light on the circumstances. I wonder if my world's versions of those planets used to be inhabited, too... We've barely even scratched the surface of the Moon, let alone others, so I guess it's not impossible!

[ It also makes her wonder if, assuming that's the case, Kyubey used the people of those planets for their plans, too...

Her expression shifts slightly from curiosity back to genuine concern. Disappearing buildings and taking over bodies sounds like an outright declaration of an intergalactic war if you ask her. ]

That's simply terrifying. I do hope there are some proper means of fighting them back being implemented, just in case they ever come back.

[ You'd think doing that much would be obvious... but who knows. People still have no idea about the existence of Witches, despite them being responsible for almost every tragedy that has occurred in history, after all. ]

Well, that was eons ago, only Earth has people on it anymore. BUT, all of them were defeated by the Sailor Senshi. The Sailor Senshi defend Earth and the solar system.

They can't come back, all of them have been killed by the senshi. All of them.

[ It's good to know every world has some kind of protectors to keep it safe... She figures that makes sense; necessity is the mother of invention, after all, and what greater necessity is there than the need for survival? ]

My, my! Those Sailor Senshi really do sound amazing~ They seem to be a lot like the magical girls of my world!

[ She's just... putting it out there, curious to find out whether that term would ring any bells. ]

Oh, they are magical girls! But that's awesome to hear magical girls are in other worlds too! What are your magical girls like?

Ah, I was wondering if that could be the case!

[ She claps her hands together, nodding enthusiastically. So, other world's magical girls, huh... If they're anything like ones she's familiar with, just knowing about them would be enough proof that Usagi herself is one, so she assumes as much, but won't bring it up for the time being. That's for her to reveal when she feels like it. ]

Magical girls of my world fight against Witches, who spread curses and misfortunes from the shadows! Those feed on people's negative emotions and suffering, so magical girls protect them and save them as needed~

[ Doesn't that sound lovely? If only it were that simple... ]

[She is absolutely right on Usagi being a magical girl herself. However, Usagi doesn't catch on the same way Mitama has.]

[ Mitama is still smiling, though Usagi might notice there's a bit of sadness visible in her eyes as she speaks now. ]

While magical girls are born from wishes and hope, Witches are beings born from curses and despair. Causing pain and suffering is simply in their nature, the same way eating or breathing is natural to humans.

[ It's a sad existence, really. When you think about it, killing Witches is, in a way, putting them out of their misery. ]

That's... like my home, too. If there are beings of the light, there must be beings of darkness. Chaos and Cosmos, one cannot exist without the other. That's life, yeah?

Yes, it really is. The scales must always be in balance, no?

[ She nods slowly, her smile growing wistful. ]

But that's also a part of the magical girls' job, to make sure the side of despair isn't tipped too far.
