[When he posts this, it's the kind of "early morning" where you're not sure if it's actually morning, or just "really late at night". He's usually a jovial person, but his tone is much more subdued now. But not a tired sort of subdued; he's clearly wide awake.]
Can people who have died in their home worlds come here?
[There's a long pause.]
...and if they can, could anyone help me find someone?

audio;
[Just a blunt, monotone answer.]
And your request sounds very likely.

He decides to just keep things simple.]
Thank you. I'll [...] keep looking for her, then.
no subject
You're welcome.
[After a pause, her curiosity takes over.]
Are you certain this individual is here? I have found there is very little sense in who appears in places such as these, nor for when they come or go.
no subject
[A pause, before his tone strengthens in its resolve.]
But I heard her voice, and...if she is here, I have to find her. So...
no subject
[Her relatively flat voice gets a bit softer.]
Ah, I see. I heard the voice of someone close to me recently, as well, but I am quite certain she is not here. If it is important that you see this associate, however, I hope you are able to locate her.
no subject
Who did you hear? Are you sure she's not here?
no subject
Echo hesitates to respond, if only because her relationship to this person was very unique and therefore complicated to explain to other people.]
Noise. [That's actually her name.] Put simply, I was her guardian. I cannot imagine she would not make herself known to the others here when left to her own devices.
[There was a lot more to it, too. But unless someone specifically asks, she won't go into all of that.]
audio
They might not remember things the way you do. But, yeah.
...Who're you looking for?
no subject
My grandmother. What do you mean, they might not - remember things?
no subject
[ Have they managed to pull people from before their death? ...Is that what's going to happen to her?
... ]
Did you maybe hear her voice or something...?
no subject
[It hadn't occurred to him. How would he explain his grandmother's death to her? It's a terrible prospect, made worse by the fact that, while he adores her, he didn't actually know her for very long - not long enough to know how she'd respond to such a weird conversation. Well....crap.]
...Yeah. She was calling my name.
no subject
I thought so...
Sorry, but I don't think anyone can help you find her. She might never have been here at all.

[ He is, ironically, a living proof of that. But he's not in a hurry to admit that, so the generic confirmation will have to do. ]
I wouldn't assume literally every dead person from your world is here, though.
[ What are the odds of whoever he's looking for being here? Really, what are the odds of anyone, alive or not, that they're familiar with being among the "Chosen" as well? He's heard of people from the same world being here, but his money would still be on "not likely". ]
no subject
I heard her calling my name.
no subject
What, that? I wouldn't put my faith in that shit. It's just someone trying to mess with us, that's all.
[ He knows for a fact that what he's heard couldn't have been real, so it's probably safe to assume none of it is. ]
no subject
[He knows it very well could be. But he doesn't want it to be that...]
Did - did you hear someone, too?
no subject
[ He might as well have confirmed it with that comment, but he doesn't want to just straight up admit it. Or talk about it in detail, for that matter. ]
Point is, you should do yourself a favor and stop believing things that are too good to be true.
voice;
She's not too sure whether to respond, but after a moment, she decides to go for it anyway. ]
Do you mean someone who is dead?
[ Look, there's a difference between being dead and having died!
In Ange's experience, anyway. The question might not make sense from anyone's point of view, but it does from hers. ]
no subject
....nnnno. I don't think so, at least. [A pause.]
She's not undead. As far as I know.
no subject
[ Thanks, Med'an, for being totally normal about this distinction. Maybe this is why Ange should interact with aliens a little more often, they seem to understand what she's getting at better than most humans do.. ]
Without having to be undead, even. I have evidence.
[ She's the evidence. And while Ange doesn't mind saying that, it's not like she wants to make this weird and personal either, so she first just says it like this instead. ]
no subject
It seems like a lot of people do. [...] I wonder if that...has something to do with why we're here...in some...way.
[Ok he's not totally sure what he meant. But, you know, like. It Makes You Think. Or something.]
no subject
You think we're all dead and stuck in hell?
[ ANGE, PLEASE.. Behave in front of the good little alien boy who's been nothing but nice to you??
Though she at least doesn't sound like she's making fun of him or anything, since her voice is so flat.. Though it does make the scenario sound a little more ridiculous due to the deadpan quality of her tone. ]
I guess that would explain a thing or two.
voice
Who are you looking for? Mayhap I can keep an eye out.
no subject
Her name is Aegwynn - Magna Aegwynn. I've...been looking through the forest for her, but I haven't found anything. I heard her voice, though.
no subject
I have not seen anyone by that description or heard that name. Are you sure the forest isn't just playing tricks?
no subject
I - I know it could be that. It sounds just like one of those old tales you tell to scare kids. But - but I have to be sure.
no subject
[ Assuming she's even from a time after he's born. ]
no subject
My name is Med'an. I'm her only grandson. [...] At least as far as I know. [but we all know that Medivh was a slut so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ]
Thank you, ma'am...[Hope Yuja is old enough to be a "ma'am".]
no subject
Well met, Med'an, my name is Yuja.
no subject
The pleasure's mine, Yuja.
[...] Um, if you do find her, please don't mention her death. I guess some people don't - remember everything when they come here.
no subject
As for their memories, I think it depends on when exactly this place decided to bring them here. I know someone who is dead back home, but he is from well before that happened while another remembers full well what happened to him.
Audio;
What someone are you searching for?
no subject
I...I heard my grandmother calling out to me last night. I know that people don't normally just - show up and start calling people's names, but - I'm sure it was her.

voice lmao @ who's right above her
Why?
AWKWARDLY SHUFFLES OUT OF THE WAY...
What, uh, happened with the last batch?
no subject
But here? Walking around like nothing ever happened.
[that's a little bit of an exaggeration, buut...]
(not here/but kinda here cause lol listening)
no subject
...so you know...how he died? But he wasn't injured when he came here?
no subject
He was shot several times. In the chest. It looked like he was still wounded when I saw him for myself, but not nearly as bad.
Audio;
But I don't know that that makes it easier to find someone.
Re: Audio;
People...at least us off-worlders...seem pretty concentrated around Aldrip. It's not...that big an area to search...[Yeah, that's what he'll tell himself. He could totally sweep the entire town and surrounding areas. That's not hard. Right?]
RAudio;
Are there other towns for us to even go to?
