I know this is an odd request considering everything that has been happening. But do you think that anyone can help me cook?

Sure! You wanna start now? It's not really dinner time, but we could make something anyway. [Said like a teenager who loves to eat...]

Maybe I should ask if I can lead one of the cooking club meetings? Then we could do it with everyone.

I don't see why not? When we finish making it, maybe it'll be time for dinner anyway.

If you want, I can ask Kotone-san if you can. I don't think she would mind.

That'd be great. Are you guys friends? And where do you live? We can cook at my place, but having a real kitchen might be easier.

Yes we are and we live in the farmhouse. Although, it's not hers so we'll have to be careful about using it.

...I think the last thing we would want is to start a housefire.

Um...yeah, actually. [Ok now he has to assume that everyone here just already knows each other. Maybe he missed a meet-and-greet?] I'll be there in a bit.

[It only occurs to him once he's practically at the door, holding a rucksack full of cooking supplies, that maybe he should've mentioned that he's a weird green kid. Oops.]

[With that, when Ken heard a knock, he could only assume that it was Med'an. As he opened it, all he could do was raise an eyebrow or two. Seeing the bag of cooking supplies, he could only assume that he was the person he was meeting.]

If you needed help, you could have asked me to get you some things. You didn't have to go out of your way to do that.

[Just an eyebrow-raise is good! For all his friendliness, Med'an isn't used to meeting new people, and it can be a little nerve-wracking. But the feeling is gone quickly, with Ken's lack of horrified shouting or surprised gasps. Cool.]

Oh...well, I had most of it already. It's just basic stuff. Though I guess you'll need to go get your own pan later. [Well...oh well. That's a problem for future them.] That's okay - let's just make some stuff now and see what you think.
