I know this is an odd request considering everything that has been happening. But do you think that anyone can help me cook?

...Just to see if it tastes good or not.

I don't really know a thing about how you can tell if food is good or not.

That should be easy enough to tell once it's made, right? Though now that I think of it, maybe buying extra just in case something goes wrong might be a good idea...

I suppose so but it's more how I can't if certain ingredients are good enough? I heard somewhere that you're supposed to hit a watermelon to see if it echoes? So you can tell that it has a lot of water?

[He seen a couple of people do it back home!!]

But you want to meet up at the local tavern?

[ Watermelons can echo???? Part of him kind of hopes they find one just to test that out now, but they should stay on topic. ]

[And with that, off he went! As made his way to the tavern, he started to look for the mysterious two-toned hair person. Indeed, he hasn't seen anyone quite like him yet...]

Thankfully a young boy does indeed stand out in a tavern. He gives the whole place a quick once-over to make sure there aren't any other children he's overlooking, and approaches with a hand raised in greeting. ]

[As he hears someone nearby, Ken raised an eyebrow at Sigma. He was someone who fit that description of a two-toned hair person. That said, he gave his hand out.]

Yes and you must be Sigma-san, correct? It's a pleasure to meet you and I thank you again for helping me out. I really appreciate it

[And you know. He needs to figure out how to cook sooner or later anyway!]

The pleasure is mine, Amada-san. And don't thank me just yet, I haven't even done anything.

[ Said with a good-natured chuckle and smile as he takes Ken's hand with a professional, firm shake. ]

Have you thought any more about what you might want to make?

I think so. Do you think you can help me make chicken noodle soup?

[Because that seemed to be the easiest thing to make, right??]

[ Soup? Definitely not something he's even tried to make, but...how hard can soup be? ]

It's a staple if I'm not mistaken, so the grocers should have plenty to say. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Then uh...I guess the first thing we need to do is look around for some chicken, pasta, and some vegetables?

[He said before pointing in a random direction. Although, they didn't say that Ken had to make it by scratch, did he??]

Maybe this is a lot harder than I thought.

No, that sounds about right. The only place I'm not sure where to go for is pasta, but that's just another normal question to ask.

[ And thank goodness Sigma is a-ok talking to complete strangers. ]

But it shouldn't be too difficult to make either? It's just flour and eggs, isn't it?

Sometimes, I wish Aragaki-senpai was here so he can help us.

He was more experienced a cook than either of us, I take it?

Yeah, he was and especially when he was the one cooking for all the time back home.

[Which...made him shift his weight a little. Upon realizing what he said, he just shook his head before looking around the area.]

But that's all the more reason for me to try and figure it out right now.

[ How treasured he must have been...it sounds nice. Sigma can't help a small smile when he takes a few leading steps in the direction of what he knows to be a good grocer. ]

In that case, we have shops to visit. If we start now this could be done just in time for dinner.

[With that, he gave a small pause before scratching the side of his head.]

Really, it does mean a lot and especially when I don't really know what to do.
