[ The effects of war ravaged a person long after said war had been fought. His entire life after the War Doctor felt like a testament to that. Those days were hypothetically years ago, but when time is so nebulous to him, it might as well have been yesterday. Wasn't it yesterday that he had donned an ill-fitting trench coat and beat up chucks? Or maybe it had been the scarf era.
