[At first, there's just audio as Aerith is figuring out how this little trinket works. A phone would be easier, wouldn't it? As video comes on, she lifts a hand and wiggles her fingers in greeting.]

Hellllooooo!

[If it seems like she's too cheery, that very likely might be the case. Despite the situation and bizarre circumstances, she's chosen to approach all of this with a great deal of optimism. Smile, and the world smiles with you, goes the saying.]

I understand a lot of us are kind of going through the same thing and it's probably very easy to focus on what we don't know, but I thought it might be kind of nice to have the reminder that we have a common goal. So whether you arrived here with friends or without them, you're not alone! You have the rest of us, too.

[Gesturing to herself, she continues.]

My name's Aerith and I didn't arrive with very much, but if there's something I can help you out with, make sure you let me know and I'll do my best! Also, if you're having trouble finding a place to stay, I'm sharing a room here with my bodyguard, but I'm sure he won't mind too much if we make a little more room for you.

[ And here he thought he might've found a fun-sounding career path to look into. I mean, if there aren't any lords to punch, getting paid to punch other things full-time seems like the next best thing. ]

—Well, I mean, that's lucky, though. If anybody you know was gonna show up here with you, you'd probably want it to be the guy that's supposed to protect you. He'll probably be checking people at the door, so you won't have anything to worry about!

I'm sure if you wanted to hire one here, you could probably ask around. This world can't just be this town, right? Which means if people travel, they probably need help getting around? Or uhm. If you're offering, you could probably check with everyone else here and see if you can help.

[Which actually sounds like a very lucrative project. It wouldn't surprise her if Cloud was considering doing something of the same.]

I bet you're right, too. Don't think he's going to just let anyone in. Probably. Since he's the one who got us the room, it's as much his as it is mine.

Yeah, good point! I was kinda thinking that'd be a cool job to have. It's basically the same thing as a bounty hunter, right? Except you're just guarding one person. How hard could it be?

[ "how hard could it be" Law asks Aerith, who makes it her personal mission to make bodyguarding her a federal issue. It's okay, he doesn't know. ]

Heh, "probably." You sure he's okay with the invite?

Depends on the person. Some people can be very troublesome!

[Herself. She's talking about herself there, but Law would never even know that. She can just imagine Cloud agreeing. If he hasn't found her troublesome yet, surely he's going to in time.

At Law's prying and rightful prodding, she looses a laugh.]

Wellllll. I didn't exactly ask him before I made the offer, but he knows me, so he probably expected me to do something like that. If he gets upset, I'll make it up to him.
