[ It's a simple statement, and for a moment it does sound like the message might just cut off there. Just that one flat statement, seemingly devoid of any emotion aside from a vague hint of annoyance.

But then there's a sound that's faintly like a step, then a grumble, and then the message continues anyway. Still mostly deadpan, but a little more annoyed this time. ]

Sure, I get it. The whole crime and punishment theming? Very cute. Maybe start using that talent to build an amusement park or something more productive next time, if this sort of thing is your hobby. Either way, it's really not done to let yourself be heard on the way in, and then just act like you're not there.

[ A slight pause-- and then a sigh. ]

Just tell me someone can point me to the witch. I really don't have time to be beating around the bush.

Though I don't know if you've dealt with a witch before, but there's really not much of a difference between those two categories when it comes to them.

Unfortunately I've come to find that their favourite pasttime is harassing people by throwing them into weird worlds specifically created for them. Hence why I figured this weird theme park with a whole lot of theme and a whole lot less park was their doing.

I would say it mostly doesn't work since I only ever managed to actually hunt and get rid of one, but it counts, right?

Most people don't even know witches exist at all where I come from. People are just living their lives without knowing any of this crap is even happening in the first place.

You know, until you get pulled into their awful shenanigans. Like what seems happened to us here.

What, is there some sort of prophecy about you? [ That's usually what happens in stories, right? Usually Ange would say that sort of thing is ridiculous, but since her own life got real ridiculous real quick, she'd be willing to believe it. ]

I thought you just got supernatural powers out of nowhere when you're supposed to be a hero. Passing on duties hasn't been a thing since the old times.
