[ The video opens to a shot of Gwen walking through the snowy streets of Aldrip. She's got a black beanie on, and a pink hoodie which matches the pink tips of her blonde hair, over which she has put a denim jacket. The jacket has some homemade pride flag patches sewn into it. She walks casually through the street, filming herself selfie-style with her earbuds tucked into her ears. ]
So, the city's really gearing up for this Day of Devotion stuff, huh? Not to mention Valentine's gotta be coming up, if I've got the calendar right...
[ She mutters something under her breath, barely able to be caught up by the microphone. Something about sliding timelines? ]
Anyway, with all this love in the air, I thought maybe there should be an opportunity for those of us who aren't into that whole dating'n'love scene to hang out and have some singles solidarity! And I don't mean in a "woe is me, no one will date me so I'm sad and alone!" type solidarity. I mean "solo and loving it, don't come around here for kisses" type stuff.
So, yeah. If anyone is interested, hit up your friendly neighborhood aroace icon Gwen! I'm pretty sure I'm the only Gwen left in town, so if you were friends with Gwen Stacy, uh... Sorry I'm your sloppy seconds?
Also, if you know of a good location for this Totally Platonic Palentine's Day hangout sesh, let me know that, too, because right now the only plan is fitting everyone into my inn room, and depending on how many people want to show up, that might be a bit uncomfortable.
