[The annoying ass proverb "Never judge a book by its cover" still rings true, especially nowadays. Despite this, Rosen can not help but scoff when he sees the girl. Aside from the curious fox ears and matching tail, she resembles your typical adolescent with a chip on her shoulder. While her sun-kissed complexion reminds him of Luna, she is not the anxious witch. The fox girl appears to be far more confident and self-assured than the Dream Witch, who is always nervous. It is strange, especially since the girl readily accepted his insult earlier without much retaliation other than violence.

That is extremely unusual in his book.

Nonetheless, Rosen will not dwell on it. The only thing that matters here is the girl's fighting skills. Rosen, on the other hand, struggled against female opponents due to the Mother Goddess's restrictions on him. As a result, this battle may not become as physical as it usually does. The whole "thou shalt not inflict harm on the innocent" thing is annoying. While he believes this brat is anything but innocent for her petty insults, Danu's restriction remains in place. That means “hands off” until further notice, but that doesn’t mean he can’t wield magic against her.

Hmph! You speak as if I’m the one on trial here.

[This fight kicks off as a ring of fire suddenly erupts around Fauna’s feet. With the expected change of the seasons, there’s more than enough kindling to keep his fire ablaze. That’s a favor in his corner since Rosen doesn’t plan on closing the distance between them. Therefore, she’ll have to contend with those red hot flames instead of an actually head to head battle. Rosen might not look much like a mage, his pyrokinesis is second to none.

At least in his world.
