For those of you who don't know me yet - I'm Aether, a simple traveler who doesn't travel that much at the moment. To remedy this, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share stories with me!

Tell me about your travels! Is there a place you miss? A place you really enjoyed visiting? Or maybe a place that you wanted to go to, but never got a chance?

In exchange, I offer an ear to listen.

Hmm, he was born with an excess of yang energy. It's to the point that he needs to constantly control himself and avoid certain things. He eats only cold food, for instance.

I imagine an actual name and descriptor is more impactful.

Well, in that case "Aether the traveler" should do just fine.

I did get some other titles during my travels. Would "Honorary knight of Mondstadt" be better then?

It certainly sounds more truthful.

I wouldn't be opposed to a guide around the outskirts of Aldrip if you later happen to familiarize yourself with the landscape.

So being a knight makes me truthful, but being a traveler makes me sound suspicious? How can you tell I'm not lying anyway?

Of course! I was actually talking to someone about exploring the mountains here. Would you be interested in something like that, too?

I said it sounded more truthful. I suppose we shall see if it is.

Calling oneself a simple traveler is always suspicious. No one is truly simple.

I suppose you're right about that. I don't really have any ulterior motives though. I travel to find someone, but seeing the world and meeting various people along the way is a nice bonus.

I do not particularly care if you do or don't. It was simply a point that bears mentioning.

Is it so enjoyable? To travel?

And sure. To me, at least. Have you tried travelling before?

[nilhilistic]

Yes. I have traveled to different countries and a parallel world.

[startraveler]

Oh? Now that sounds interesting.

But you didn't enjoy the travels?

[nilhilistic]

It . . . never crossed my mind to enjoy them.

Why not?

I suppose I don't know how.

Is there anything you enjoy doing?

[nilhilistic]

I enjoy baking. And sweets.

[Maybe something can change? Starting from little things.]

That's a nice hobby. You can pick up many recipes from different countries as you travel. I did exactly that.

For what purpose?

[startraveler]

Making it yourself, of course. If you enjoyed a local cake, you can ask for a recipe and try to recreate it whenever you like.

That's true. I hadn't considered that. I never pursued it that much.

It was just one of the few things I enjoyed.
