[Honestly, Scott's so fucking nervous because he's never been the 'join clubs' sort of person, let alone sort of start one? He was the freak and outcast at his old high school and now he's here and showing his face and talking about all this while trying not to stammer or fuck up. He's totally cool, okay!!

Okay, so I sort of got the idea that there's new people here and I already mentioned this to others before and didn't quite get it started, but uh.

If you're wondering why? I mean, I get it's weird at first. [That it's weird to have a power and feel completely isolated at first and nice knowing other kids like you? He can't say that though because that's super embarrassing and he's already feeling like he's about to die.] So, yeah. And be pretty cool to show off our abilities to each other and stuff.

I think that's less to do with a talent and that your personality just sucks.

I once knew a guy who boasted of being able to tell any woman's three sizes from just a glance. Depending on whom you asked, he was either a no-good pervert or a man with a great talent for appraising women.

Would you allow a guy like that into your club?

[Scott can't entirely stop himself from smiling when Kotone responds. He likes talking to her-- and she has good insights, being a club person and all. Yeah, that.]

Yeah, probably simple applications, like 'what's your name and what's your power?' [He rubs the back of his head, because he thought he had all this planned out, but it feels like he's not doing enough.]

And I'd want to see their powers, but I guess it's not always feasible. [Like Personas.] I don't wanna force them either.

[Scott's vision may be different, but he can still see the anxiety radiating from the other teen and hey, he gets it. Is this where he tries to be empathetic and shit? Probably. He wants to, for sure.]

Hey. [He gives a small wave, his mouth twitching upward for a moment, although Scott goes back to looking serious soon after.]

And that's fine. I'm... kind of dangerous too. [He actually manages to look a little more confident, pushing back his own earlier nervousness.] I wouldn't start this club if I thought that everyone's power is safe or easily controlled. I mean. Um. I still have problems with that myself.

Haven't thought of an official date, but it's going to be in this building. [Scott will give the general direction/description of the building that hosts the club.]

[It's a little hard for Scott to discern what skin tone Med'an has, but he's definitely a different shade of red than most people that he looks at. Almost like Kurt, but in a different way. He wonders if he's a mutant and he can't help look a little more excited, even though he's not completely jumping to conclusions just yet.]

Yeah? Well, that means you should definitely join, we'll have food and drinks. [Probably at least.] And you'll get to meet other teenagers like yourself.
